Parking
Information
Free Parking is available on a first come first serve
basis at either the Granite Square Parking Garage (680-700 STATE STREET)
or the State and Audubon Surface Lot #38 (NEAR JET CLEANERS. SIGN FACES
STATE STREET). Please try the State and Audubon Lot #38 first. Please be
sure to place the REMINDER NOTICE, so that it is
prominently displayed on your dashboard. However, please remember to
detach and bring the Confidential Juror Questionnaire portion with you
to the courthouse. If the lots are full you will need to pay to use
other public or private parking facilities in the area.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALTHOUGH
THERE ARE SEVERAL LOTS WITH SIGNS THAT SAY "COURTHOUSE PARKING", ONLY
THE TWO OFFICIAL PARKING AREAS DESCRIBED ABOVE PROVIDE FREE PARKING FOR
JURORS.
Directions
to Courthouse
From West Haven:
North on I-95 to Exit 47 (right exit) and on to the Route 34 Oak Street Connector.
Follow signs for downtown New Haven-Church Street. Take first exit off
connector and turn right at the traffic light on to Church Street. Go to
the fifth traffic light. The courthouse is on the right on the corner of
Church and Wall Streets.
From Wallingford, Meriden and North
Branford: South on I-91 to Exit 3 (Trumbull Street). Straight
on Trumbull Street to the third light. Turn left on to Temple Street.
Turn left at the second traffic light on to Elm Street. Turn left at the
first traffic light on to Church Street. Go to the first traffic light.
The courthouse is on the right on the corner of Church and Wall Streets.
From Cheshire, Hamden, and North
Haven: South on Whitney Avenue (continue when Whitney Avenue
becomes Temple Street) to Elm Street. Left on to Elm Street. Left at the
first traffic light on to Church Street. Go to the first traffic light.
The courthouse is on the right on the corner of Church and Wall Streets.
From the Shoreline: South
on I-95 to Exit 47, which leads to the Oak Street connector. Follow
signs for downtown New Haven-Church Street. Take first exit off
connector and turn right at the traffic light on to Church Street. Go to
the fifth traffic light. The courthouse is on the right on the corner of
Church and Wall Streets.
From Bethany and Woodbridge:
Whalley Avenue to Elm Street. Left at the traffic light on the
corner of Elm Street and Church Street. Go to first traffic light. The
courthouse is on the corner of Church and Wall Streets.
Wheelchair Access is through the
front door.
