PRESCRIBE and PRESCRIPTION
"Prescribe" means
order or designate a remedy or any preparation containing controlled
substances.
"Prescription" means
a written, oral or electronic order for any controlled substance or preparation from
a licensed practitioner to a pharmacist for a patient.
