In accordance with C.G.S. § 51-347b, I hereby
designate the Honorable Henry S. Cohn, Presiding Judge of the
Administrative Appeals and Tax Session of the Superior Court
(New Britain), to act until further notice on my behalf to order
transfers of administrative appeals of state agency decisions
filed pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act.
Said designation shall not include the authority to order
transfers of appeals from decisions of the employment security
review board, which appeals will continue to be heard in the
judicial district where they are filed.
Any such transfer may be ordered from the
Superior Court for one Judicial District to the Superior Court
in another court location within the same Judicial District or
to a Superior Court location for any other Judicial District..
Any such transfer only shall be ordered when required for the
efficient operation of the court and to insure the prompt and
proper administration of justice.

Standing Order on
Administrative Appeals of General Statutes § 4-166 et seq. and 4-183 The
Uniform Administrative Procedure Act
Pursuant to the April 23, 2008 standing
order by the Honorable Barbara M. Quinn, Chief Court Administrator,
I hereby order the transfer of administrative appeals of state agency
decisions filed pursuant to General Statutes §§ 4-166 et seq. and 4-183
of the Uniform Administrative Procedure Act, except for appeals from
decisions of employment security review board (which appeals will
continue to be heard in the judicial district where they are filed), to
the Tax and Administrative Appeals Session in New Britain. Pending
appeals shall be transferred immediately and new appeals shall be
transferred upon filing.
