Overview of Electronic Services Enrollment
Application Process for Attorneys and Law Firms

Attorneys registered with the Statewide Grievance Committee and law firms which have obtained a law firm juris number may enroll and obtain a secure password that will enable them to access and complete certain business transactions electronically in the Superior Court.

The Judicial Branch is building its capacity to handle transactions electronically. The ultimate goal is to allow for electronic filing of documents with the Superior Court. This application will serve as the gateway to electronic connectivity between the Superior Court and authorized users of electronic services. (The initial phases of electronic services are being tested with members of the bar.)

Electronic Services Enrollment Application Process
The electronic services enrollment application process is designed to be user-friendly and requires the entry of a minimal amount of data. Upon completion of the enrollment application process, a confirmation will be displayed on the screen indicating that the enrollment application has been received. Attorneys and law firms should exercise care when entering their required E-mail address. Authorized users should contact the Judicial Information System's Help Desk at (860) 282-6555 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. if difficulties occur that prevent completion of the enrollment application process.

Within seven days after completion of the enrollment application process, an initial password will be mailed to the attorney or law firm. For attorneys, the password will be mailed to the attorney at the office address that is registered with the Statewide Grievance Committee. For law firms, the password will be mailed to the law firm at the address of record with its firm juris number.

Authorized users will be required to change their password the first time they access the Login screen.

The password:

  • Must consist of:

8-10 characters (A-Z); including, and
At least one number (0-9); but

  • May not use:

Special characters, such as @ # &.

Thereafter, authorized users will be able to change their passwords by accessing the "Change Password" screen.

Annual Attorney Registration with the Statewide Grievance Committee

The enrollment application process does not constitute compliance with the annual Attorney Registration requirement. Attorneys enrolling for the purpose of complying with the registration requirement electronically must complete the separate registration process upon receipt of a password. Additionally, if your address has changed since your last registration with the Statewide Grievance Committee you must notify the Statewide Grievance Committee of your new address, by non-electronic means, before you can enroll.

To check your address currently registered with the Statewide Grievance Committee, please go to Attorney/Firm Inquiry and enter your last name or juris number. If your address is incorrect, or your name or address does not appear, you must complete and mail form JD-GC-10 (JD-GC-10.pdf or fillable JD-GC-10.htm) to the Statewide Grievance Committee before you can enroll. We regret any inconvenience this may cause, but it is for security purposes.

Please proceed to the Electronic Services Enrollment Application to become an authorized user.
