Adult Probation Officer
Responsible for conducting pre-sentence investigations of referred cases and overseeing a caseload of clients referred by the court for supervision.
A state appointed person who may set the amount of bond for persons detained at a police station prior to arraignment in court, who recommends to the court the amount of bond that should be set for the defendant.
The person who translates court hearings from English to another language. Provided at state expense in all criminal cases and in cases enforcing child support orders, if requested.
Responsible for recording dispositions of cases and ensuring the accurate and timely record keeping of court files.
Criminal Caseflow Coordinator
A person who keeps track of cases and supervises the scheduling of hearings and trials.
Increases public awareness of the jury system by making presentations to educational institutions and civic organizations.
All cases concerning uncared for, neglected or dependent children and youth, termination of parental rights of children committed to a state agency, matters concerning families with service needs, contested matters involving the termination of parental rights or removal of guardian transferred from Probate Court and the emancipation of minors. It does not include guardianship or adoption cases, or matters affecting property rights of any child or youth over which the probate Court has jurisdiction.
Juvenile Probation Officer
Responsible for the placement of an adjudicated delinquent under the supervision of a juvenile probation officer.
Victim Services Advocate
Responsible for independently performing a full range of tasks including providing information and assistance to victims and witnesses of crimes and their families.
