Directions from Wilbur Cross, Rt. 15 North-South
Bound:
- Get off at exit 59, before or after tunnel, follow signs for
New Haven.
- Proceed straight ahead on Whalley Ave., about 3-4 miles. We
are opposite the second MacDonald’s at 239 Whalley Ave.
- (Directly in front of current and on the original site of the
New Haven Correctional Center (adult).
From I-91:
- Get off at Exit 1, marked "Downtown New Haven –
Frontage Rd.", proceed as below:
From I–95 – North or South Bound:
- Get off at Exit 1, marked "Downtown New Haven"
– Frontage Rd."
Proceed as below:
- Proceed ahead to Exit 3 where expressway ends.
- Continue straight ahead through traffic lights at York Street,
Park Street, Howe Street and Dwight Street
- Turn right at the 5th light onto Orchard Street.
Turn also marked with "Hospital" sign.
- Proceed ahead on Orchard Street through lights at George,
Chapel, Edgewood, Elm and turn left at the 5th light, onto Whalley Ave.
- We are located at the next intersection between County St. and
Hudson St.
A parking garage is located on County St. immediately behind
Juvenile Matters.
