From New Haven and Points South:

  • Take I-91 North to Route 9 North.
  • Take Exit 26 (Downtown New Britain). Go straight through traffic light at the end of the exit.
  • Continue straight to next traffic light. Turn left onto Chestnut Street. Continue straight.
  • Turn left at traffic light onto Elm Street, which becomes Franklin Square.
  • Courthouse is the third building on the left.

From Windsor and Points North:

  • Take I-91 South to I-84 West.
  • Take Exit 39a (Route 9). Continue on Route 9 to Exit 27 (Chestnut Street) which is a left hand exit. At the end of exit, turn right.
  • Continue straight to second light.
  • Turn left at traffic light onto Elm Street which becomes Franklin Square.
  • Courthouse is the third building on the left.

From Danbury and Points West:

  • Take I-84 East to Exit 35 (Route 72 /east).
  • Take Route 72 to Exit 9 (Main Street). Turn right at the end of exit.
  • Main Street becomes Franklin Square.
  • Courthouse is the third building on left.

From Hartford and Points East:

  • Take I-84 West to Exit 39a (Route 9 South).
  • Continue on Route 9 to Exit 27 (Chestnut Street) which is a left hand exit. At the end of exit, turn right. Continue straight to second light.
  • Turn left at traffic light onto Elm Street, which becomes Franklin Square.
  • Courthouse is the third building on left.

Public Parking* is available at the municipal garage on Badalato Drive. Take a left just after the courthouse onto Pearl St. Then a left onto Badalato Drive.

* Handicapped Parking is available on all levels of the municipal parking garage.
