The Legal Exchange Program is part of the Judicial Branch’s Public Service and Trust initiative. As such, it is designed to implement the Branch’s goal of improving communication and collaboration with the Bar. These programs provide forums for discussing local issues, the impact of new statutes, Practice Book rules, policies, procedures, and any issues existing between the Clerks’ Offices and members of the Bar.
Separate sessions will take place throughout the state during the course of the year. Please contact the Judicial District in your area for further information.

A staff member from the Appellate Court will be available to discuss the transition to e-filing for appeals. Various Departments within the courthouse will be available to answer questions and provide information, including the civil/family and criminal clerk’s offices, the foreclosure mediation department, the court reporter’s office, victim’s advocates and the law library.
