1. Among other requirements (set out in full in PB §2-13) an applicant must have been lawfully engaged in the practice of law as the applicant’s principal means of livelihood for five out of the last seven years in a reciprocal jurisdiction.
 

The reciprocal jurisdictions (subject to change) are:

Indiana
Iowa
Kansas
Kentucky

Massachusetts
Michigan
Minnesota
Missouri
Nebraska
New Hampshire
North Carolina
North Dakota
Ohio
 

Oklahoma
Pennsylvania
Tennessee
Texas
Utah
Vermont
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
All other jurisdictions have been determined to be non-reciprocal.
Reciprocity is determined as of the date the applicant files an application for admission.
 
2. The non-refundable fee for admission without examination is $1,000.00. The application, instructions and related forms are available in PDF format.
